Laura Mason (’08), Sales Leader at LinkedIn, led a workshop Wednesday, March 1 on how to improve LinkedIn profiles as the guest speaker at the 2023 Toronto Business Breakfast for Acadia alumni. It was a pleasure to see everyone at this year’s event as it has been almost exactly three years since our last Toronto Business Breakfast. Seven decades of alumni from all faculties were represented in the audience of approximately 50 guests at the Omni King Edward Hotel. Guests really enjoyed the presentation, with one noting afterward, “What a fabulous event. Thank you! Loved connecting with alumni and I left the event feeling like I had accomplished so much before I even went to work. Win-win. Excellent speaker.” Also in attendance were University President Dr. Peter Ricketts, Vice-President, Advancement, Nancy Handrigan ('92) and Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot ('93, '06).
