A rainy night did little to dampen the enthusiasm of a joyful group of Acadia alumni who came together on October 9, 2024 at Ascots Restaurant in Pembroke, Bermuda.

Vice-President, External Relations Nancy Handrigan (’92) and Enrolment staff Leigh-Ann Murphy and Zackery Pate (’23) welcomed guests and shared news and information about the University and Acadia International with those in attendance. They met with many students on the Island through the week preceding the event and alumni at the reception were encouraged to spread the word about Acadia to family, friends and prospective students in their networks.

GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni were out in full force, too, with many participants attending an alumni event for the very first time! The mood was relaxed, and everyone had fun. Firm plans were also made for another CARICOM Takeover of Homecoming in October 2025. We can’t wait! See you then!
