Acadia students and the Acadia Students’ Union combined forces at Waterfront Park in Wolfville, Nova Scotia Thursday morning, Sept. 29, 2011 to celebrate Acadia, the Bay of Fundy and to support the Bay’s nomination in the New7Wonders of Nature competition. More than 30 students from the Acadia community braved the mud and used their bodies to form the number seven as part of the recent Sprouting 7s celebration to promote the Bay’s candidacy. National, local and provincial media were on hand to capture the event, which attracted people from the surrounding community and was a classic example of Acadia Spirit at work.
