A nostalgic crowd of Acadia alumni, family and friends gathered at The Stubborn Goat in Halifax on November 9 for a reception to celebrate the achievements of Acadia's 1990 CIAU championship-winning soccer team and alum Dr. Christina Atkinson (‘91) ahead of their induction into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame.

The atmosphere in the room was upbeat. The 1990 soccer team members were all smiles and had a lot of fun reconnecting not only with one another, but with Dr. Atkinson, who was known by many on the team and had a large group onsite supporting her as well. It was fantastic to see current student-athletes chatting with the inductees throughout the evening. Congratulations to this year’s inductees – we’re so proud of everything you have accomplished!
