Acadia alumni in Singapore came out in full force to meet University President Dr. Peter Ricketts and Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) in The Ord Room at the Fairmont Singapore’s Raffles City Convention Centre during the first Canada-in-Asia Conference on February 23, 2023. The majority represented classes from the ’80s and ’90s, along with a couple of special guests: Mark Matthews, son of Dr. Bruce Matthews (’63), and Paul Evans, who began his teaching career at Acadia in 1980. Alumni enjoyed hearing updates about the alumni program and Acadia priorities, and reminisced as a campus video played in the background.
