It was a special night at the Old Triangle Irish Alehouse in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on Thursday, November 26. Approximately 25 Acadia alumni and friends came together to hear news and updates about the University from guests President Ray Ivany and President of the Associated Alumni, Doug Jackson (’99). Sydney is Ivany’s hometown so it was a bit of a homecoming for him, and a good time was had by all at the relaxed and informal event. Other Acadia representatives in attendance included Executive Director of Alumni Affairs Ian Murray (’88) and Executive Director of Philanthropy Nancy Handrigan (’92).
