Acadia alumni representing grad years ranging from the 1960s to the 2010s gathered at VEDA Ovolo Central in Hong Kong on March 7, 2024. Comprised of regulars and several newcomers, guests enjoyed sharing their Acadia stories – including some hilarious reminiscences of social activities in the Students’ Union Building – and contemplating the next get-together.

Of course, they were excited to meet Acadia’s new President, Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99), who provided updates on the University’s priorities and challenges. Dr. Hennessy spoke about his first six months in the role and the time he has spent with students and faculty, attending their classes, and with alumni and supporters across Canada and around the world. Appetizers and refreshments were available throughout the evening, which ended with great energy and a group photo to mark the occasion!
