Approximately 75 Acadia alumni and guests enjoyed the annual Holiday Social on the Hill Monday, November 30, 2015 in Ottawa. The event was hosted by Senator and former University President Kelvin Ogilvie (’63), but unfortunately he was unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. President Ray Ivany brought greetings, news and updates from the University. Special guests in attendance included Chancellor Libby Burnham (’60); Scott Brison - MP, Kings-Hants and President of the Treasury Board; Andy Fillmore - MP, Halifax; Paul Corkum (’65) - Honorary Degree Recipient and Distinguished Alumni Award recipient; Matthew Rios (’14) - Director, Alumni Association; and Suzanne Seaman (’97) - Director, Alumni Association.
