Alumnus Leon de Vreede (’03) is the Sustainability Planner for Bridgewater, N.S. and his energy management work for the Town has been recognized provincially. He attended the annual Bright Business Conference in Halifax recently, organized by Efficiency Nova Scotia, and received a Bright Business Award on behalf of the Town. These awards are given to businesses and organizations that take leadership in energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
