Survey: on-campus PCR testing for holiday travel

In collaboration with Praxes Medical Group, Acadia University is exploring COVID-19 testing on campus for travellers leaving Nova Scotia this holiday season. We already have Rapid antigen testing on campus, which are currently being accepted by some countries as a test for entry. Other countries require a negative PCR test result as a requirement for entry. Guidelines for domestic travellers are changing November 30, as well.

The on-campus PCR tests for travel will include all of our students, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members. We have not finalized dates of these clinics, but there will be numerous clinics available at Acadia in December to alleviate the need to travel to Halifax for a PCR test. If you plan on travelling throughout December and need to be tested, please complete this brief survey to help us plan our staffing needs and dates for our tentative PCR clinics that are coming. The survey will close November 22nd at 8:00 am.
