Travel Advisory: Restrictions in Atlantic Bubble travel

The provinces of Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador have announced that they are suspending the 'Atlantic Bubble' travel agreement for two weeks, effective November 24 and November 25 respectively. Prince Edward Island has also suspended non-essential travel.

As of those dates, any visitor from Nova Scotia will have to quarantine (self-isolate) for 14 days once they enter Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador. Both provincial governments have indicated they will review the policy on December 7.

The government of Nova Scotia has not announced restrictions on visitors from Atlantic provinces at this time, but the situation may change quickly. The Acadia community is encouraged to monitor campus and provincial announcements for updates, and to limit non-essential travel.
