ALLways Learning: Rene Cottreau - Archaeological digs at L’Anse aux Meadows

Archaeology of L’anse aux Meadows will be a presentation of the many different branches of archaeological science being applied to the examination of Viking ruins at the northern edge of Newfoundland. A particular focus will be given to the archaeological dating done on the site by digs in 2018 and 2021.
Biography: Rene Cottreau is an undergraduate student in the history department at Acadia University. His focus is agricultural history, irrigation technology, and eco-history. He previously spent three years studying archaeology at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
