The Department of English and Theatre hosts a series of readings and presentations by authors from across the region and worldwide. These events are open to the public and are an important source of cultural enrichment for students, faculty, and Wolfville community members alike.
Kate Beaton is a Nova Scotia graphic novelist who is best known for her comic strip Hark! A Vagrant! and her best-selling graphic memoir Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands, a New York Times Notable Book and one of Barack Obama’s favourites! Join us to hear her read from her admired work.
