Most of you are probably familiar with the Maple League of Universities, a consortium formed by Acadia, Bishop’s, Mount Allison and StFX. We collaborate on different initiatives under the premise of working on what we can do together as a group better than we could do on our own.

 

We are interested in forming a community of practice/communities of practice to support BIPoC faculty and staff across our schools. We would like to find ways to support people with BIPoC identities, not only to come and work in our institutions, but also to stay and accomplish their professional goals.

 

This is a continuation of past initiatives. At this point, we would like to connect with BIPoC faculty and staff who would be interested in participating in a community of practice. We have scheduled a meeting time this fall and will continue meeting in the winter.
