ACADIA ALERT - Campus Closing Early (Weather)

Today, 11 February 2026 - Acadia University will be closing at 5:30pm due to the forecasted weather conditions. All classes scheduled to start at 5:30pm and later are canceled. Students and employees are not expected to come to campus. Only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Residence buildings and Wheelock Dining Hall will be operational.

Updates will be posted on www.acadiau.ca and pre-recorded on Acadia’s Information Line: 902-585-4636 (585-INFO) and on 585 phone system voicemail. Mono Print Workshop

January 21, 2026 (5:00 pm)

Location: Acadia University Art Gallery Lab Room 131

Mono printing can be fast and painterly, with a range of inks and applicators.
Class will produce numerous prints of classic themes, as well as abstraction using a variety of papers and techniques.
 
$150*
*$140 for gallery members
$25 DEPOSIT is required
 
No experience is necessary in printmaking or general art making, and many examples of each theme will be provided to students.
