Poli-Talks With Students Nova Scotia
September 16, 2025 (6:00 pm)
Location: K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre Auditorium
As part of our Political Literacy Series, the ASU is excited to host Poli-Talks with Students Nova Scotia on Tuesday, September 16th at 6:00 PM in the KCIC Auditorium. This event is a great opportunity to learn firsthand about student advocacy and lobbying efforts happening across the province, and to gain insight into how students can make their voices heard in political processes. Representative Brendan Roberts from Students Nova Scotia will share their experiences, discuss strategies for effective advocacy, and highlight ways that students can get involved in shaping policies that impact them. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions, engage in conversation, and connect with like-minded peers who are passionate about making a difference in their communities. Whether you’re curious about politics, student activism, or simply want to understand how policy decisions affect campus life, this event offers a practical and interactive way to deepen your political literacy.
