Dr. Chedrawy is a physician, administrative leader in healthcare, and expert in communications and team dynamics.

In this lecture, Dr. Chedrawy will share theory and practical examples about meta-leadership, which includes concepts of understanding of oneself as a leader, recognizing the expected leadership capacity in one’s formal role, and working to influence and activate change beyond that. Working in teams offers opportunities to learn, grow and affect change, and it can be challenging. Dr. Chedrawy will also share insights from theory and practice on managing teams and resolving conflicts for better team dynamics. This lecture is for faculty, students and the Acadia community who are interested in leadership. There will be a focus on health-related fields, and transferrable learning for anyone. There will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the lecture.
