SHRC Movie Night at the Al Whittle: 500 Days of Summer
November 18, 2026 (7:00 pm)
Location: Al Whittle Theatre
Let’s watch & talk & ask our questions!
It’s classic slumber party vibes in this brand new series in collaboration with the ASU’s Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC). Don your comfiest pajamas and join us at the Al Whittle to watch a movie and talk about the good, the bad, and the downright bizarre ways our media represents relationships and sexuality. Bring your questions, your thoughts, and love for movies as we engage in a fun, open, and inclusive discussion about all of our problematic faves. Great company, great talks and great causes. What more could you ask for?
About the film: Tom, greeting-card writer and hopeless romantic, is caught completely off-guard when his girlfriend, Summer, suddenly dumps him. He reflects on their 500 days together to try to figure out where their love affair went sour, and in doing so, Tom rediscovers his true passions in life.
Tickets are only $5 for Acadia students, staff, and faculty! Buy at the door or online at Al Whittle Theatre website.
