March 11, 2025 (6:30 pm)
Location: K.C. Irving Environmental Centre Auditorium
With the least math possible, in this public lecture Dr, Andrew Davis (Economics) will be attempting to cover as quickly as possible (1h04m last time!) a brief empirical history of the Canada-US trade relationship, the theory of tariffs at both the ECON 101 and 402 levels, the outcomes of previous Canada-US trade spats, and the costs and benefits of retaliation and buy local policies.
Feel free to share with classes, friends, or community - there are no tariff barriers to attending this talk!
