Come gather, connect, and create together! Umoja is a Swahili word meaning unity, and this new djembe drumming circle is an opportunity to experience that idea through rhythm, movement, and community.

No drumming experience is needed! We'll learn some rhythms, play together, experiment with layering sounds, and most importantly, have some fun.

Djembe drumming offers a joyful, embodied way to support wellbeing, reduce stress, and connect with others. Come take a break from your day and let the rhythm do the rest. This circle is open to the Acadia community and no previous drumming experience is required.

Optional registration can be completed here.
