Walk & Talk with Acadia Counselling Centre
April 16, 2026 (11:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Location: K.C. Irving Environmental Centre Main Floor Meeting Room
Join us for a relaxed Walk & Talk! This is a chance to get outside, connect, and take a gentle break in your week.
Our walks are organized for the following dates:
Thursday, April 9: 11am-12pm
Wednesday, April 15: 3pm-4pm
Thursday, April 16: 11am-12pm
Wednesday, April 22: 3pm-4pm
Thursday, April 23: 11am-12pm
We’ll meet at the KCIC Main Floor Meeting Room (just to the right of the café) with some good snacks, water, and music. Next, we'll explore the Botanical Gardens and the Acadia Woodland Trail together for about 30 minutes, then return to the KCIC.
If you want to participate and are not feeling up to a walk, you’re welcome to stay and unwind in the meeting room at a casual colouring station. You’re invited to bring a small bag if you’d like to carry anything with you along the way.
Come as you are and join in ways that work for you. If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll keep things going with a walk on the indoor track at the Acadia Athletics Centre (we'll email with updates).
This event is presented by the Acadia Counselling Center in partnership with the following 5 students from Acadia's Masters of Counselling program:
Suzanne Bates (she/her)
Andre Lariviere (he/him)
Jo Nomellini (they/them)
