The World University Service of Canada (WUSC )  Student Refugee Program (SRP) is the only one of its kind to combine resettlement with opportunities for higher education. Launched in 1978, the program has since grown to support over 130 students per year through active partnerships with over 80 campuses.

Acadia is proud to be one of these partners! Join us tomorrow evening to  hear from one of our students what it is like to transition from camp to campus .

Thursday January 25th at 7:00pm in the KCIC Auditorium. University Avenue

The presentation will be given by one of our students who will be discussing his experience in a refugee camp and what life is really like for displaced youth in these conditions. We will also be discussing what WUSC does in Canada and around the world on refugee issues. There will be time for a Q&A afterward.
