Lessons learned from writing a community history

Alumna Laura Churchill Duke (’98) discussed what she learned in conducting community research pertaining to her historical novel, Two Crows Sorrow, about the life and death of Theresa McAuley Robinson in 1904 on the Annapolis Valley's North Mountain. Laura’s talk highlighted the research and writing process, especially concerning the reporting of sensitive stories.
