Winners have been announced in the 38th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition, and Acadia’s Office of Advancement has once again topped the podium with a gold and silver.
Long-time and new alumni friends enjoyed reconnecting in Florida, the first time since March 2020. University President Dr. Peter Ricketts and Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) were warmly received in the sunshine state during an alumni gathering at GROVE in Lakewood Ranch on March 15, 2023.

Five years ago, Nancy Denton-Peck (’69) realized it was becoming increasingly difficult to do the things she loved. She had spent her life as a successful musician with a solo performing career, but things changed.
A cool evening didn’t prevent an enthusiastic group of Acadia alumni from gathering in beautiful Bermuda on March 9, 2023. Spanning grad years 1956 to 2019, guests included native Bermudians and several who have made Bermuda home for decades.
