President Ray Ivany has announced the dedication of “The Raddall Wing” in the University’s Biology Building, in recognition of Dr. Thomas Raddall, Class of 1957. Dr. Raddall’s one-million dollar gift to establish The Raddall Research Fund in Biology, is among the largest made by an individual to Acadia and will greatly enhance student and faculty research in the life sciences.
An eclectic mix of athletes and builders will be inducted into the Acadia Sports Hall of Fame at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Festival Theatre in Wolfville.

Acadia alumni and friends gathered on September 6, 2013 at the Carleton Music Bar and Grill in Halifax for the annual Acadia Alumni Pre-Game Pep Rally.
Acadia alumni were front and centre during Move-In Day 2013, helping new students locate their rooms and settle in at Acadia on August 31.
Acadia faculty and staff took time out over the noon-hour on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 to enjoy this year’s annual AAAU sponsored Start-of-Term Barbecue in the Quad behind University Hall.
Sixty-six Acadia alumni and friends boarded the tall ship Silva on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 for the annual Acadia Alumni Halifax Harbour Cruise.
