Composer Lucas Oickle named 2022 Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient

To say that Lucas Oickle (’13) has hit all the right notes before and after graduation would be an understatement. A gifted and talented composer and educator, Lucas has created over 30 new works and had numerous commissions and performances by professional ensembles since 2013. His continued success as a composer has brought great pride to Acadia and is one of the reasons why he is the 2022 recipient of the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

Dr. Trevor Jain named 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient

Alumni Association boosts Athenaeum Award fund with $2,000 donation

The Athenaeum will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024, but generations of alumni who have worked on Acadia’s student newspaper in the past are pooling their fiscal and creative resources now to establish an award to support aspiring journalists on campus.
