Mental illness can affect anyone, and good leaders learn about it and accept it. This was Acadia alumnus Jason Pitre’s (’96) message to more than 100 people in the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre on August 26.

Acadia faculty and staff were welcomed by President Dr. Peter Ricketts and members of the University Administration in the Garden Room at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre on August 31, 2017 for this year’s Start-of-Term Barbecue, sponsored by the Acadia Alumni Association.

Star basketball player and Acadia Sports Hall of Famer Warren Sutton ('63) has been awarded an Honorary Degree from Alfred University in New York.

The 36th Annual Acadia Alumni Golf Tournament took place on Friday, July 28 at Ken-Wo Golf Club in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Twenty-six teams and more than 120 players took to the course to celebrate Acadia spirit and raise funds to support awards for incoming students from local high schools.
