Second-year Bachelor of Education student Victoria Rombaut is the 2017 recipient of the annual IODE Nova Scotia Annie G. Murray Memorial Scholarship. 

A good crowd of Acadia alumni turned out on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at the Institute of Directors on Pall Mall in London, England to meet University President Dr. Peter Ricketts and hear news and updates about the University.

Acadia University celebrated its 179^th anniversary on November 15 during Founders’ Day 2017. Faculty, staff, students and alumni shared in the occasion, which took place in the newly-renovated Axe Lounge in honour of the 50^th anniversary of the incorporation of the Acadia Students’ Union.

Today, we say thank you to everyone who supports our campus community - whether that is by cheering in the stands, volunteering to help others, or making a thoughtful donation.

Acadia alumnus Dr. Paul Corkum (’65) FRS was awarded the 2017 Royal Medal for his major contributions to laser physics and the development of the field of attosecond science during the Royal Society’s premier awards dinner in London, UK on October 31.

Acadia alumni joined approximately 250 other alumni on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 at the historic Penn Club in New York City for a Canadian Universities Alumni Reception: Celebrating Canada 150 and Canadian University Excellence.
