Acadia students wouldn’t want to go to an ordinary university, and Acadia wouldn’t want to be one. It’s a fact that the University’s 28,000 alumni understand very well, and they are perfectly positioned to share their enthusiasm for Acadia to students considering post-secondary education.

Acadia University celebrated its 177th anniversary on November 13, 2015 during Founders’ Day on the Wolfville, Nova Scotia campus.
Acadia Education student Adam Hines is this year’s winner of the Annie G. Murray Memorial Scholarship, given by IODE Nova Scotia.
When the writ was dropped for October’s Federal Election, Allison Fuisz (’05), a middle school teacher in Ottawa, was determined to take the opportunity to teach her students about politics in a creative way.
