Catherine Stanley Scholarship

Acadia University math instructor Dr. Catherine Stanley loved her family, mathematics, and teaching. She also loved life. As a tribute to her, students who share her passion for mathematics have received scholarships.

Ruth Hennigar

Ruth Hennigar (’81) knows the value of a degree in STEM. In 2015, she created an award to support young women, who like herself, want to attend Acadia to pursue a degree in computer science.

Tracey McGillivray ('15)

A long-awaited degree in computer science and meeting her fellow grads inspired Tracey McGillivray ('15) to create a scholarship for female student-athletes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

A Wolfville business has created a bursary to support a student who is also a parent, and it is making a world of difference to an Acadia BEd student and her entire family.
