ADVISORY: Acadia delays campus opening Wednesday, March 18

Please be advised that Acadia University will delay opening until 11:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 18. Classes scheduled to begin at or after 11:30 a.m. will occur as per usual. Students, faculty, and staff are not expected to come to campus until it reopens. Only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Residence buildings and Wheelock Dining Hall will be operational.

Public Health Announces Vaccination Program

Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s Chief Public Health Officer, has today informed Acadia that the second case of meningitis was serogroup B. Public Health will now provide meningococcal vaccine to all Acadia students during the next two weeks.
