Local Rotary helps make university learning more accessible with gift to Campaign for Acadia
The weather was wintry in Winnipeg on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 when Executive Director of Alumni Affairs Ian Murray (’88) and Executive Director of Philanthropy Nancy Handrigan (’92) co-hosted an alumni family dinner in the Gateway to the West!
Ron Joyce, the Nova Scotia native who created a billion-dollar empire with the Canadian staples of Tim Hortons coffee and doughnuts, has died. He was 88.
Today we mark the first day of African Heritage Month in Nova Scotia. Acadia University has a long tradition of educating people from all backgrounds, including those of African descent.
Ian Murray (’88), Executive Director, Alumni Affairs and Jim Darnbrough, Executive Director, Enrolment Services were joined for dinner by 36 alumni and friends at CinCin by the Sea in Barbados on the evening of Thursday, January 24, 2019.
More than 50 Acadia alumni and friends braved a frigid Toronto morning to come together on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 for the Annual Business Breakfast at The Albany Club of Toronto.
