The 1981 Acadia Axemen football team was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in Halifax on November 2, 2013.
Acadia alumni and friends were treated to a full slate of activities October 18-20 during Homecoming 2013.
Twelve teams gathered outside University Hall at Acadia University on Friday, October 18, 2013 for the 101st running of the annual Bulmer Relay.
President Ray Ivany has announced the dedication of “The Raddall Wing” in the University’s Biology Building, in recognition of Dr. Thomas Raddall, Class of 1957. Dr. Raddall’s one-million dollar gift to establish The Raddall Research Fund in Biology, is among the largest made by an individual to Acadia and will greatly enhance student and faculty research in the life sciences.
An eclectic mix of athletes and builders will be inducted into the Acadia Sports Hall of Fame at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Festival Theatre in Wolfville.
