Acadia Alumni brightened an already sunny Florida day on March 21 at a luncheon with Acadia’s new President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99).
Acadia University has been honoured with prestigious awards at the 39th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition, showcasing the institution's excellence in Alumni and Donor Relations. Amidst stiff competition, the University's Office of Advancement communications team secured Gold and Silver awards, alongside Merit recognitions, reflecting their outstanding ability to execute impactful communications strategies.
Acadia alumni representing grad years ranging from the 1960s to the 2010s gathered at VEDA Ovolo Central in Hong Kong on March 7, 2024. Don Clow (’83) is a go-to kind of guy who always comes up clutch, and the rural PEI native has proven this time and again during his illustrious career as a student-athlete, businessperson, community advocate and philanthropist. The Acadia Alumni Association applauds his remarkable commitment to community, the University and its constituency, and is pleased to add another accolade to his resume by naming Don as this year's Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
