Positive perspective on crisis management at 2024 Toronto Business Breakfast
Suzanne Knight (’07) presented an incredibly positive perspective on crisis management with her very informative presentation, “Never waste a good crisis: embrace the opportunity for transformation” at this year’s Toronto Business Breakfast on February 15, 2024. Highlighting that flexibility and leadership are key, Suzanne stressed that we all must start small and learn fast, and remember that all crises come with their own set of ripple effects. Alumni from grad years 1961 through to 2017 and community members in the room at the Verity Club were captivated, and engaged Suzanne with several questions to continue their learning.
A lovely social time and conversation followed Suzanne’s well-received presentation. Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92), Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) and Executive Director, Donor Relations Vicki MacCrimmon were also on hand to greet alumni and share news and information about the University.
