Alumni excellence was on full display and a celebratory mood filled the room at Pier 21 in Halifax on April 20, 2023 when members of the Acadia community came together for this year’s Alumni Awards Dinner. More than 200 guests gathered to honour and applaud this year’s recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award, Dr. Susan Crouse (’85), and Outstanding Young Alumni Award, Ms. Shannon Boldon (’13).

A ton of fun was had at an alumni gathering in Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, April 12, 2023! Evelyn Fidler (’88, ’89) showed up in a vintage Acadia jacket; Fumiya Kanai (’22) regaled us with his stories and energy; Sandy Liu (’02) offered up fashion advice; and Jacob Reicker (’19) and Lindsay Warner (’16) drove from Saint John to join in the festivities.

Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) welcomed an enthusiastic group of Acadia alumni to The Dock in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on April 11, 2023.

As a recent graduate and proud alumnus of the Acadia Cardiac Maintenance Program (ACMP), Jim Prime ('69) feels qualified to share a few thoughts on this excellent Valley resource. Classes for ACMP are held at the Acadia Arena Complex and conducted by third- and fourth-year students in the Acadia School of Kinesiology under the watchful supervision of Director Dr. Carley O’Neill (’14).

The sunny city of Winnipeg saw an intimate group of excited, inquisitive alumni gather on Thursday, April 6, 2023 to hear updates about the University and the Acadia Alumni Association from Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06).

The prosperous city of Edmonton, AB saw an eclectic, energetic turnout of Acadia alumni on Tuesday evening, April 4, 2023. Lively conversations from sports to books to our nation’s current economic status dominated as guests joined Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) and Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) at the popular Hudsons Canada’s Pub.
