Acadia University is globally recognized for fostering a research environment that offers all students the chance to participate in research and community engagement. The Research and Innovation Office, which includes the Office of Industry and Community Engagement (ICE), encourages students and faculty to explore local and international issues in an interdisciplinary way. Acadia also offers entrepreneurship and experiential learning opportunities through Launchbox. We offer a large number of undergraduate Honours programs — most of which are thesis-based—and 18 Masters programs & an Inter-University Doctoral Program in Educational Studies.

Faculty

Acadia's faculty participate in global collaborations and partner with industry, government and community partners. We foster a participatory and interdisciplinary environment. Our faculty includes four Canada Research Chairs and leaders of a variety of research centres and institutes.
