Remembrance Day is marked in Canada every year on November 11. It is a national commemoration day for the more than 118,000 Canadians who have died in military service.
At Acadia University, we traditionally join with the Royal Canadian Legion's local branch to remember the service, sacrifice, and loss of those who served. Because the global pandemic has prevented us from having large gatherings, there will only be online and private opportunities to show respect.
