Acadia University celebrated the official launch of its first electric vehicle fast charging station and the Government of Canada's contribution of $50,000 to the project through Natural Resources Canada’s Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative (EVAFIDI). The funding announcement was made by Kody Blois, Member of Parliament for Kings–Hants, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources.
