A cool, crisp day on December 3, 2023 provided the perfect backdrop for this year’s Holiday Skate and Carol Sing at Acadia University. A fine group laced up the blades at the Andrew H. McCain Arena at 2 p.m. to start things off. Folks then gathered on the Clark Terrace at the Wu Welcome Centre/Alumni Hall from 4-5 p.m. for a carol sing led by local entertainers Donna and Andy.

A small but mighty group of Acadia alumni came together for a reception at the Carrie Nation Restaurant and Cocktail Club in Boston on Thursday, November 30, 2023 as part of a beautiful and brilliant evening in anticipation of the city’s annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony.

A capacity crowd was in a celebratory mood at a reception to honour the induction of the 1993 CIAU championship-winning Acadia hockey Axemen and legendary soccer John Kehoe to the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame on November 25, 2023 in Halifax.

The holiday season is upon us and there was certainly a festive mood on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Lodge on Queen. University President Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99) was greeted in a beautifully decorated room full of holiday spirit by a group of inquisitive and engaged alumni from various decades, including Chancellor Bruce Galloway (’68, ’03), and past Chancellor Libby Burnham (’60, ’00).
