Each year, we award more than $4 million to students in the form of scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes. By maintaining a strong scholarship and financial assistance program, we are able to attract, retain and support our students.

Established in 2016 by DHX Media, these awards are granted annually to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration who have a demonstrated interest in the creative arts – music, visual art, theatre, dance, film or digital media. In recognition of academic success and with a preference for students who may have financial need, one award will be granted to a student majoring in Finance or Accounting and the second to a student who is female and/or a member of a visible minority group.
DHX Media is a Canadian media production, distribution and broadcasting company, which was established in 2006. A key player internationally in the creation of content for children and families, the company is the largest independent owner of children’s television programming in the industry. DHX CEO is Acadia alumnus Dana Landry (BBA ’93) and Mark Simpson (BBA ’00) is Director of Finance.
