Each year, we award more than $4 million to students in the form of scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes. By maintaining a strong scholarship and financial assistance program, we are able to attract, retain and support our students.

The DAVID AND SHIRLEY MCEWEN SCHOLAR-BURSARY will be awarded annually to an entering or returning student in the Faculty of Science at Acadia University on the basis of academic performance and demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students majoring in Chemistry.
This scholar-bursary has been funded by Dr. David J. McEwen (BSCH Acadia, 1952; PhD Purdue, 1957).
